May Be.

Hi guys! Today I have a very unusual but a most common word that we use in our daily lives. Yes! You already know when you saw my post title. It is none other than the word May Be. Basically, it consist of two words which are may and be. Besides that, don’t get confused between the word maybe and may be. Both words are not the same. They have different meanings. Maybe brings a meaning of not sure or we can also substitute maybe with perhaps but may be refers to the possibility. Something which was might happened that cause something. So, now you know the meanings about both words but my point basically is for the word may be.

Basically, I wanted to pop up several questions that have the possibilities of may be…in this current global world especially in Malaysia. Moreover, the questions also refers to the current issue that is happening and also the possibility of cause that causing the events. From this questions, I hope that I can make people aware of current happenings in Malaysia and possibilities of why it is happening. The issues that I would like to present to you are about a education, sports and crimes.

Firstly, I would like to ask a question, Why the crime rate in Malaysia increasing year by year? The crimes include chain and bag snatching, suicides, murders and drugs. There is many possible reasons why this is happening. If we see from the root of these problems, the people involved in this crimes are the school drop outs. Therefore, I can say that may be they didn’t take care good care by their parents. Parents didn’t give importance to their child may cause their children do drugs. If we see in the context of bag and chain snatching, they did all these things just because of they may be in poor and they did those things for living. Suicides especially students during exam result times, we can read it in newspapers. We thought that they are not stable mentally. The other reason I can give is they may be cannot accept their result from what they put effort on it. They may be afraid of future that they cannot do anything with the results. These are the matters that made a person willing to do for anything especially for money wise or for living.

Secondly, I also wanted to highlight about education aspect. Every year the statistics of each subject and students that got good result will be low especially on STPM exams. So, my question is why students unable to produce a good result on their examinations?  There are several possibilities. There are may be students unable to get extra educational aid such as tuitions. They have extra classes too for their extra learning in schools but it is very tough for the students for their personal understandings apart from school. I can relate this topic to my first point which is the family status. This is because a family with a poor living unable to pay tuition fees that stops students getting knowledge to better understand on the subjects. The “self learning” technique is good for the students who are clever but how about a students who is very weak? They may be didn’t want to burden their parents on going to tuition.

Next, sports. In this current days, we are looking forward to our Malaysian contingents in Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil. As we seeing, only few athletes are participating in several games. From my research, Malaysian contingent targeted only three gold medals in Olympic this time. This current happening had created a thought on me. Why people didn’t want to participate in sports and what are the methods to develop sports organization? My probable answer will be people may be didn’t take seriously on sports. They just saw it as a game but not the achievements and rewards that a player will get from his participation in sports. Other than that, they may be thought it is waste of time because only one in thousand will be qualified to participate but it is not. Every person that thinks he got the real talent, he or she can participate and make the nation proud.

As the conclusion, this may be…possibilities of why the situations are happening that can give many ways or alternatives to us to develop and find solutions to overcome those things. This is because obviously to raise the economy and to make peace of our country.
